The competition……..but is it really🫣

As you know everything I make is made by hand by me alone, no fast fix , no churning bags out carelessly to get money in.

I was recently appalled when a came across this saddle bag for sale on a public forum. This bag has been made from a saddle, a saddle that was cut up carelessly, stitched badly by a machine that is very obviously struggling to get through this thickness of leather, finished without love or even thought as to if it will withstand the test of time!

It won’t and in other pictures it’s failing!

This bag wasn’t made by a hobbyist, this bag was made for an influencer by someone running a business making handbags from saddles. This was made to encourage people to buy their products, a showcase!

Please please do your research, don’t send your precious, precious saddle to anyone without checking out what they make because I can imagine if this turned up you’d be heartbroken! There is only one chance to get it right and this isn’t right!

This company is more expensive than me even though they can churn out many bags of this quality daily. I’m not naming names although I’d love to because this standard of workmanship needs calling out!

So again please do your research!
