Show Time

I’m absolutely on the crest of the wave going into show season.

Two big shows back to back, Royal Windsor and Badminton Horse Trials.

I adore Windsor Horse Show, it’s run beautifully by a wonderfully hard working team. Everything about it is lovely including the free chocolate this year. It fuelled us for the whole show and the packing up and off again to set up again at Badminton.

My first time this year and it will now be firmly on my show calendar.

We were so Lucky with the weather at both events, I think one day was a bit wet at Windsor but it was warm!

Obviously the absolute highlight was seeing The Duke of Edinburgh again in my stand. He really is the most down to earth person and I must admit I can’t really remember he’s a Royal when talking to him.

We had a good chat and the next day he returned with his daughter Lady Louise who chose a bag called The Arena, I’m thinking this now needs to be called The Lady Louise.

I’m now coming down from all the recent highs, it’s all been an incredible once in a lifetime experience being on Tv, an experience I’d love to repeat 😉

Next stop in the show calendar is The New Forest Show and then Burghley in September.

Back to my mahooosive waiting list of bags to be made from special saddles and boots.

I love my job xx
